      Some sparkplug caps are 5K some are 10K depends on what the bike is suppose to have according to the manufacturer .Some have are non resistor caps. If you use resistor plugs you can use non resistor caps.

    This seemed to be the best method for me. However after 2 attempts on the ground I had to jack my vehicle up and lower the A-frames on blocks, so suspension was holding the weight, and tires were free.

    This is genius! I have just purchased TWO 2012 Honda CBR250r motorcycles. The red one has a sizeable but not creasing dent in the right side of the tank, plus it is fuel injected so it has a sizeable entrance hole in the bottom of the tank tank for the fuel pump. i can see now this is going to WORK...Thanks...Al

    a bit unclear to me still. By pushing the screwdriver down a few times is what sort of resets it? You do not have to open up the case, as you said, to see it? So line up top by matching the line, then push with screwdriver a bit? thanks

    • @Amotorcyclenut
      @Amotorcyclenut 9 месяцев назад

      That is correct. Pushing with the screw driver just makes sure that the locking mechanism released and set the proper tension.

    Nice trick! I've been doing electrolysis on my gas tank for the past few weeks and it's got a couple small spots pushed in a bit. This strategy should work well after watching how it worked for you.

    This is awesome. I had a leak in my V-Star 1300 and took it to a local repair shop. They charged me $300 to try to fix it with JB Weld. I drove it home and parked it in the garage and an hour later smelled gas again. What a waste of time and money. I'm going to pull the tank off, clean up their mess, and solder it myself. The old saying, _"If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself."_ couldn't be more true. My wife has been bedridden for the last 9 months due to a severe case of sepsis that she had right after xmas. We just had a nurse show up and replace her catheter. Right after the nurse left my wife said that it felt like she had to pee. The nurse had put the catheter in her v-jayjay!!! I pulled it out and just put in a new one myself. For all you youngsters that are reading this, take it from a 60+ year old -- It seriously pays to learn how to do as many things yourself as you can. It will save you a TON of money and, even if you "normally" hire someone to do something, you can make sure they are doing the job right and you can fix their fuck-ups in an emergency.

    Is it bad that i adjusted the rough adjustment while the engine was running? It sounds alot better now it seemed to take alot of the slack out and advice would be appreciated

    • @Amotorcyclenut
      @Amotorcyclenut 10 месяцев назад

      I would not adjust the rough adjustment with the engine running. The cam chain could skip a tooth doing that. Do the rough and fine adjustment as described in the video. Then you can do the fine adjustment with it running.
